Between October 20 and 23, the most important meeting of the global dairy sector, organized by the International Dairy Federation, IDF-FIL, will be held in Santiago, Chile. It is the World Dairy Summit, IDF WDS 2025.

“It is the first time that South America receives this Summit and together with the International Dairy Federation we have developed a broad and interesting program, which will include speakers and conferences on the realities, challenges and opportunities of the world and the Americas, so it will be an attractive approach in the global and regional,” says the national secretary of the IDF (Chile), Octavio Oltra.

Chile actively participates in the Pan-American Dairy Federation, which is chaired by Chilean producer Eduardo Schwerter. In order to participate and take advantage of the world meeting of the dairy sector, Fepale will hold its Annual General Assembly on October 23, in which its members representing the dairy sector of the Americas will participate.

“The Summit will be a historic meeting and today we have the opportunity to meet and share with our peers from all over the world; with the leaders of the producers, of the industry; and with the top specialists and researchers. That is why we invite you, together with our Assembly, to join us at the World Dairy Summit so we can show what we are, what we do and where we are going,” said Fepale’s Secretary General, Ariel Londinsky.

To boost the participation of representatives of the dairy sector of the Americas, Fepale members will be eligible for a preferential discount of 20%. In addition, with the possibility to attend the Fepale assembly and have access to one day of the IDF-WDS at a special price. These incentives are intended to contribute to a significant attendance from the continent.
