ARRIVAL IN CHILE

You can book directly from the website www.wetransport.cl or the APP

  • Every passenger must follow the norms and instructions of immigration and customs authorities. It’s very important to read all instructions and the list of forbidden elements (custom form will be received in the aircraft before landing in Chile). It can be completed through an online formulary (recommended) and the airline will provide the link.
  • You must declare all vegetal and animal-origin products. In case of doubt it is always advised to declare it and ask the customs authorities once you give your custom form to them.
  • After passing by customs you will leave the restricted zone of the terminal and reach the arrival zone of the airport. Only take transportation with official companies in the Santiago Airport.
  • When check-in at hotels you must present your Passport/ID, the immigration document that you will receive at the airport from the authorities, and a credit card to guarantee possible extra expenses.

Taxis

For a secure and stress-free taxi, purchase a ticket at the official counters before entering the arrival hall. A representative will then escort you to your vehicle. Avoid the unauthorized vendors inside the arrivals area, as they can be aggressive and are often involved in scams.

Minibus (transfer)

Next to the official taxis, minibus services offer two options:
Shared: Cheaper, but slower with multiple stops.
Private: More expensive, but direct and door-to-door.

Rent a Car

Process paperwork at the arrival hall desk, then take a shuttle to the lot. Use a navigation app for the 30-minute drive to the city (often longer in traffic).
Tolls: An electronic "Tag" in the car automatically pays highway tolls; the rental company will charge you for the incurred fees.
